Preparation

• Choose Auspicious Day & Time – Friday, Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, or any Shubh Muhurat is best.
• Place – Keep the Shree Yantra in your Puja room/altar, facing East direction.
• Cleanse the Place – Purify the area with Gangajal or clean water.
• Cleanse Yourself – Take a bath, wear clean clothes, and sit with devotion.
  

Pooja & Sthapana Vidhi

• Purification of Yantra – Wash gently with raw milk, water, and wipe clean. Sprinkle Gangajal.
• Apply Tilak – Put Kumkum (red vermillion) or Sandalwood paste on the Yantra.
• Read shree suktam strotram or reciting lalita sahastranaam every friday or auspicous days for good benefits.
• Chant the Shree Yantra mantra (“Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed, Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalaxmi Namah”)
• Meditate on the yantra regularly to harness divine energy and blessings
• Offer fresh flowers, kumkum, rice grains, and chant Shree Suktam / Laxmi Mantras
• Meditate upon Goddess Laxmi and visualize abundance in your life.
• Offer Flowers – Place fresh flowers and Akshat (rice grains) on it.
• Light Diya & Incense – Light a ghee lamp (diya) and dhoop/agarbatti.
• Offer Naivedya – Keep fruits, sweets, or mishri as prasad.
• Chant Beej Mantra – Recite the Shree Yantra’s beej mantra:
  “ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं श्रीं कमले कमलालये प्रसीद प्रसीद ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं श्रीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः॥”
  (Chant minimum 108 times with a rosary if possible)."
  
  

Care & Maintenance

• Keep the yantra clean and free from dust by wiping it with a soft dry cloth.
• Occasionally wash with clean water and wipe with a dry cotton cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Clean with rock salt + lemon juice or temarind juice after pooja.
• Apply a thin layer of natural oil (like sesame or mustard oil) occasionally to maintain shine and prevent oxidation.
• Place the yantra on a clean altar or pooja space, preferably on a red or yellow cloth.
• Do not touch the yantra with dirty or oily hands during worship.
