Copper Maha Meru Shree Yantra – A Three-Dimensional Form of Sacred Geometry
The Copper Maha Meru Shree Yantra is a three-dimensional representation of the traditional Shree Yantra, crafted in a rising Meru form. Made from copper and designed with precise geometric proportions, this 3x3 inch yantra can be used as a sacred focal point for traditional worship, meditation and spiritual practices.
The Shree Yantra is traditionally associated with Shree Vidya, prosperity, abundance, harmony and spiritual consciousness. Its geometric structure consists of interlocking triangles arranged around a central Bindu, which serves as the innermost focal point of the yantra.
The Meru form gives this sacred geometry a three-dimensional structure, making it suitable for a home temple, puja space, meditation area, office or other dedicated spiritual space.
Understanding the Sacred Geometry of Shree Yantra
The Shree Yantra is more than a decorative geometric design. Its structure has deep symbolic significance in traditional spiritual practices.
The Interlocking Triangles
The Shree Yantra contains interconnected triangles arranged around the central Bindu. In traditional interpretations, these geometric elements represent complementary cosmic principles and the harmonious relationship between different aspects of existence.
The Central Bindu
At the centre of the Shree Yantra is the Bindu, the focal point of the entire geometric arrangement. During meditation and contemplation, practitioners may use this central point as a visual focus.
The Meru Form
The Maha Meru form transforms the traditional two-dimensional geometry into a three-dimensional rising structure. The upward form is traditionally associated with Mount Meru, the sacred cosmic mountain described in Hindu cosmology.
This ascending structure can symbolically represent movement from the outer material world towards inner awareness and spiritual consciousness.
Traditional Significance of Maha Meru Shree Yantra
In traditional worship, the Shree Yantra is associated with prosperity, abundance, harmony and spiritual practice. Devotees may place it in a sacred space and incorporate it into meditation, mantra chanting and daily puja.
The copper construction also makes this yantra suitable for traditional spiritual environments where copper is commonly used for sacred objects.
